Myself and 3 friends rode our dirtbikes from Silverlakes all the way to randsburg having reserved the hillstreet cottage for saturday night planning to ride back to Silverlakes Sunday. Incredible is an understatement of our experience. The hospitality shown by Goat, Scrappy and Skater went above and beyond any expectations I might have had. To be able to ride all day to get there, have a cottage to eat, sleep, do laundry, relax, shower, and do whatever we wanted was the absolute best! What Goat is setting up in Randsburg for us is a dream come true. What ever you want, they are there for you. A personal Thank You from all of us for making a great weekend for us. Just think, we rode all day, were all gnarly and dirty. Got to take showers, wash our gear, eat, do a lot of bench racing, were welcomed beyond belief, and put on clean socks the next morning and ride out! What else could you legally ask for? If we had any issues with our bikes, they have the capacity to handle that too! Thanks again from Glenn, Mike, Steve, and Dan. We will be back!

I stopped in yesterday after a district 37 race. I was hungry! I was also all banged up from a crash. goat and crew to amazingly good care of me.

the passion these folks have for the desert is infectious. After some watermelon slices, delicious pizza, and a cold beverage I was back on the road and rejuvenated.

can’t wait to get some people together to stay for a few days. that whirlpool looks so inviting after a long day riding.

thanks for everything Goat and Scrappy. The world could use more people like you!

    see you soon.

Went to Randsburg with 5 friends and left with 8. Had a pretty good crash and found out just how caring and helpful Goat, Scrappy and Skeeter could be. Other than the crash the trip was everything we had hoped it would be. Came in from Atlanta and the hospitality was wonderful. Enjoyed some great home cooking and sitting around the fire pit telling stories. Can’t wait to get back and thanks for everything Goat, Scrappy and Skeeter. I agree with JJ the world needs more people like you. I will be sure to tell everyone this is the place to go if you really want to have some great riding and stay with some wonderful people.

Looking forward to another stay today with the Husqvarna team. Can’t think of a better place to ride our Huskys and spend a weekend than Randsburg!

  6. Jen Jones Says:

We had 10 of us and were AMAZED at how awesome, Goat, Scrappy and Skater were to us. We all left feeling like family and were cared for better than in any 5***** hotel I know of. Super relaxed, friendly, helpful, above and beyond great hospitality. We will definitely be back with hopefully more family members! If you just “thought” about something you needed or wanted then BAM! it was provided for you!!!!!!!! This place is the best.

There isn’t enough that can be said for customer service at Goat’s Sky Ranch. I’ve stayed out there three different times now, and each time I never want to leave. One day we broke a chain, and Scrappy showed up with a 520 master-link in hand. Another day we woke up to freshly baked cookies. After a long ride there is nothing better than a cold beer and soak in the giant sized hot tub down at the cottage. Anyone looking to get away and do some riding, this is the place to go… Thanks Goat and Scrappy, for everything! See ya’ll again out there soon-

To our great friends in the USA. We both felt we had to contact you, to express our heartfelt thanks, for making us feel so welcome. We have NEVER has such generous hopitality shown us anywhere in the world. We came to you on our way through Randsburg to put our heads down for the night and ended up staying for two days. Didnt want to leave. You found us a corner even though you were fully booked and we shall remember that forever. The food, the hay ride, the company and surroundings was such an experience. It wont be the last you see us. Just remembering the experience is calling us back. Thanks again to you Goat, Scrappy and Skater. Please give our love and regards to all the Randsburg inhabitants

We stayed at the Cottage Hotel last fall for the weekend. We’re not offroaders but still had one of the best times of our lives! We love going “off the beaten path” and this place, with the townsite, was just perfect for us. The hospitality from the hosts, Goat, Scrappy, and Skater is truly something to write home about. We loved waking up to the smell of freshly made cookies and cinnamon rolls! We can’t wait to come back and see our new friends again!

And another thing, we agree with all the reviews above. Actually, some of them may actually be understatements!

  11. Ritchie Hodgin (Hughes group Says:

My 5 friends and myself recently stayed at the great
Goats Sky ranch after a long hot day of riding motorcycles from the coast.Goat and Scrappy where so
accommodating with bike storage and wonderful rooms. They are such great people to deal with and had great conversation with. Provided us with lots of info about the area. The Icing on the cake was the great breakfast the two of them cooked up for us the next morning before our departure. I will definitely revisit and stay there again, The Hughes Group highly recommends this place for great place to stay and very pleasant people to deal with. Thank you folks again!

Was there in lovely Randsburg on October 15, 2011! We stayed in the Rose room…very nice…loved waking up to coffee and first day of chukkar season. Scrappy and her daughter made us feel very much at home…thanks guys! Hope to see you again someday soon!

  13. Ronny Says:

It should not have taken me this long to write about my stay. But what I have to say seems captured by others. The place is gorgeous, exciting and just another world in every way. But the real satisfaction is provided by the three of you. Completing the experience in a manner that can not be imitated. If you visit the USA and want to meet the kind of men who makes us proud, come meet Goat, Scrappy and Skeeter…they can out ride you on any trail, they can pull you and your bike together after a crash, and still bake some darn good cookies. An honor to get to know you. Ronny

    Hey Goat!

The girls are coming back to ride and to see you guys again! We love the Cottage Inn! Stayed there at the end of January 2012 and coming back again this weekend! This time we’re excited to try one of the Cabins. It is unbelievable to me how great the service is, and what a wonderful person you are! Not only that, the place is adorable, the jacuzzi rocks after a long day of riding in the dirt, and our breakfast was awesome!!! See you soon… Cheers! TraciZ
